Scotland: The North Coast 500
In an attempt to bring some marketing and economic input into the far reaches of northern Scotland, the road around the coast is now being marketed as the North Coast 500. Independently I took a trip up there to explore some of the unique archaeology in this part of the country, especially along the east coast. I wasn't disappointed and the trip uncovered a lot of unexpected highlights as well. I also achieved my boyhood goal of travelling to the Cape Wrath. At last.
