Romania

I first visited Romania for the eclipse in 2000. When I returned in 2016 it had in many ways changed out of all recognition. It's still a great country though; amazing wilderness and wildlife, fantastic mountains, beautiful old medieval cities and still, that 'edgy wild-west' feeling about it that I remembered from my first visit. It's not quite completely civilised yet and its all the better for it.
